Deputy Avirett has been with the sheriff's office since December of 1984 where he worked exclusively on the Lake Toxaway Patrol until March of 2007 when he transferred to the Court Security section. Deputy Avirett lives in Lake Toxaway and is a member of Lake Toxaway Fire/Rescue.
