Divisions of the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office

There are 3 divisions within the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office with a Captain commanding each division. The Divisions and their responsibilities are: 1) ADMINISTRATIVE, which includes Civil Process, volunteers, equipment, and grants; 2) OPERATIONS, which contains the regular patrols, the school resource officers, the investigators, the tele-communicators; and 3) DETENTION, which includes the detention officers, prisoner transportation officers, and court security officers.
