Deputy Ellenberger started with the Sheriff's Office in March of 2007 as the School Resource Officer at Brevard High School. Deputy Ellenberger previously served as a Magistrate here in Transylvania County. He holds a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
